HELLO!

My name is Deborah (pronounced Dee BOR ah or at least when I was in trouble), but please, call me "Deb".   My father was career military so I spent my entire childhood as an Army Brat, attending 13 schools in 12 years.  Although, I missed so much with my extended Midwest family, I do appreciate all the opportunities my childhood provided.  Growing up in the military, it's "sink or swim".  I learnt at an early age to be independent and flexible in many situations.

I always thought that I'd go to college, work a little in a government setting (DoD), marry a military man, have children, travel the world and grow old with that special man.

NOT SO MUCH....

I was married while a senior in high school, did not go to college, had two children, divorced after 10 years, married again, divorced again and yes, I tried marriage for a third time.  This one lasted 34 years and *poof* it was over when I found out he had a girlfriend for 3 years and she was 26 years younger than me.  OUCH!! I am SO allergic to rejection! Oh, well. Life goes on.

NONE of the husbands were military and I certainly did not travel as I thought.  But, I did finally make it to college at night while working full-time and raising a grandson!

Things have changed and it's time to change with them.  I am now a senior single lady who loves adventure, especially travel. . . day trips, cruises, etc.

Join me as my new trek begins. . . it is time to focus on my dreams!
