Torc Waterfall
As you casually drive from Killarney, the road is shadowed by large trees, calming and majestic, on your way to Torc Waterfall in the Killarney National Forest.
There is convenient parking close to the path to the waterfall. DON'T BE IN A HURRY to reach the waterfall itself. Take the time to appreciate the trickling stream that mark the lower part as the water gently cascades over the rocks. As you approach the higher part, watch your step (from experience)! The ancient pathway is very uneven with twisting and large root, as well as stones in various sizes. It is difficult to focus on anything other than the splendor of Torc, but you would do well to keep on eye on your footpath.
After reaching the falls, spend the time walking from one platform to another, enjoying the gorgeous scenery and the incredible trees.
